The old paddle wheeler "Nantucket" dressed in her flags and bunting for the 4th of July, heads for Nantucket Island. In the 1890's it was customary for owners of vessels to show their patiotism by trying to outdo each other by "dressing" their vessels for the 4th. This was a very prestigous and highly contested event.
